And That Moment Passed…..

It started as just a little cough. It wasn`t bad; I could push through. Then I got to the end of the day and realized I was miserably coughing and sneezing, and it was no longer a passing cough.

We don`t recognize the things we have until they`re gone. When I had complete health I never realized it until I`d lost it. Remind yourself today that you can breathe. Isn`t that amazing? You can go outside and touch the world. Feel the life bubbling around you. Doesn`t that make you want to sing for joy? Imagine a blank, dark, dreary world with nothing in it, but we don`t have that, do we? Isn`t that wonderful?

Remember the things you have today, or they may be gone forever.

We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses.

Oh sweetie, you are so right about this! We don’t appreciate the sunshine (enough!) until it starts to rain. We missed you last night–get better quick!

Oh, I missed you all too! Then I woke up this morning and thought,”Boy, does pizza sound good!” And then my mom came in and said Uncle Bryan had sent some. Thank you!
